The work of the Council is carried out by many people, ranging from the representatives of our member bodies who compose the Governing Board to the Council's officers and staff.

• Officers are elected by the Governing Board for two-year terms.
• Executive staff administer major program portfolios--the Council as a whole, its public advocacy witness, and its finances and facilities.
• Office staff provide support services for the Council as a whole and its executive and program staff.
• Program staff oversee the Council's direct ministries of witness and service.
